ABOUT ME

Rachel has professional experience in film as well as design and communications work in the medical industry, giving her a uniquely detailed and interdisciplinary creative background.

Rachel Stansberry grew up in Detroit, MI, always driven by a passion for art. By the end of high school, she knew she needed a place where she could fully express her creativity. She went on to graduate from DePaul University, studying Film & Television with a concentration in Production Design and a minor in Graphic Design.

Her creative career spans a range of roles. She has served as a Production Designer, with extensive responsibilities in set decoration and prop mastery, on approximately ten student films and a master’s thesis. She has also worked as a Wardrobe Designer on two student films and one master’s thesis, and as an assistant on a short film.

Beyond film, Rachel’s experience extends into the medical field, where she has worked as a designer and managed social media for a physician with nearly half a million followers, a respected pioneer in his specialty. This role has strengthened her visual communication skills, branding abilities, and adaptability across industries.

Rachel is also passionate about art direction, graphic design, architecture, interior design, painting, photography, and exhibit design. Recently, she contributed to exhibit design pitch materials for the Klairmont Kollections in Chicago.

While she often speaks more about her work than herself, Rachel is genuinely proud of everything she creates, and hopes her portfolio inspires you.
